Welcome to HCMA's Early Careerist Network!
Sign up for the Mentorship Program!
Thanks to an ACHE Chapter Innovation Grant, the Healthcare Management Association of Massachusetts (HCMA) developed an Early Careerist Network, intended to the meet the needs of Massachusetts healthcare executives under the age of 40!
If are a member of ACHE with a Massachusetts address, you are automatically a member of HCMA (ACHE's Massachusetts chapter). And if you are a healthcare executive under age 40, you also are included as part of HCMA's new Early Careerist Network. We hope you will take advantage of the opportunity to become actively involved in both HCMA and the Early Careerist Network.
As part of the HCMA Early Careerist Network, you have the opportunity to apply to be part of a Mentorship Program that matches early careerists like you with senior healthcare executives in Massachusetts.
In addition, closer to home, you can look forward to special HCMA Early Careerist Network events. The events include a cocktail hour and brief educational program and provide a great way to connect with other healthcare executives in the state. Events are announced to early careerists via email, and we encourage you to bring your colleagues - ACHE members and non-members alike - to these events.
In the meantime, we welcome your feedback on how the HCMA Early Careerist Network can best meet your needs. We look forward to receiving your mentorship program applications and to meeting you at one of our local events.
Sincerely,
The HCMA Early Careerist Network Committee

Attention Early Careerists!
HCMA is Pleased to Offer the Early Careerist Mentorship Program
The HCMA Early Careerist Network is pleased to offer the Early Careerist Mentorship Program. The program is designed to match HCMA members with early careerists based on common professional interests in a year-long formal mentoring relationship.
The goal of the program is to provide early careerists - including students, recent graduates and experienced early careerists - with the opportunity to partner with a professional to enhance knowledge of industry issues while promoting the value of and participation in the Healthcare Management Association of Massachusetts and the American College of Healthcare Executives.
The Early Careerist Mentoring Program committee is actively soliciting early careerists who would like to be matched for this year’s program with formal relationships beginning in April. We will make all attempts to match everyone but due to the nature of the program we may be unable to do so. If this is the case, we will notify you and keep you on the list for an upcoming match.
If you would like additional information about the program or would like to be matched with a mentor please complete the “Early Careerist Questionnaire” form and return to Kerry Ann Phaneuf at kphaneufs@tuftsmedicalcenter.org
